Since 1946, Pugliese Industria Meccanica, more than a company, has been a true family dedicated to transforming customers’ needs into tangible realities.
It is with pride that we present our company, an established presence in Italian and international markets since 1946, specializing in the manufacture of large diameter pipes, unique components for pressure pipeline systems, pressurized vessels and precision machining.
Since 1997, we have also extended our efforts to the energy sector, focusing in particular on the production of towers for wind turbines, complete with platforms, ladders, electrical, signaling, lighting and power systems.
Pugliese Industria Meccanica was founded in 1946 by Manfredo Pugliese. Returning to his hometown of Perano - Chieti, after the conclusion of World War II, he fervently started his blacksmithing business in a room of a few square meters. The workings were geared toward the agricultural sector.
In 1960, political and economic changes enabled the company to start operating in the aqueduct sector with the production of special parts for pipelines. Due to the growing demands and high quality , Officina Meccanica Pugliese is able to expand its production area to 1.000 mq.
The company makes a decisive investment in its future, moves its operations to Atessa in the Val di Sangro industrial area, buys a new 30.000 mq production area and builds a 6.000 mq warehouse. Pugliese Industria Meccanica S.r.l. is established.
In 2009, the company embarked on a new adventure, acquiring a 100.000 mq production area in Mozzagrogna and building warehouses covering 13.000 mq, dedicating a large part of its production to the energy sector.
